Why do I need God?

The Word of God warns us ALL Have fell short of the standard of God and have violated the law. (Romans 3:23 and Romans 3:20) In fact, Jesus tells us that if you have even so much as THOUGHT a lustful or hateful thought, you have committed sin, and it is considered the same as if you had actually physically done it by Gods standards. (Mathew 5:28) Our Sin separates us from God. (Isaiah 59:1-2), (John 3:3) Jesus Christ, The Resurrected Son of God, bridged this gap with his sacrifice for you and me on the cross. (1st John 2:2) Jesus is literally our ONLY lifeboat off of this sinking ship known as The World. ALL who do not repent and come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior WILL perish in everlasting torment that was meant for Lucifer and his demons. (1st Corinthians 6:9-10), (John 3:36)

With all of that established, I think it is important to start off with the authoritative record of God's Word, The Bible to explain the case for Jesus.

Oldest Book in the World -The Bible is THE oldest book on the face of the planet that is still in print today. 

The Authority -The Bible not only has been backed by science, and archeology, but it has also been correct in history. In fact, many secular textbooks today still cite the Bible as their source of information in regard to historical figures and places in ancient history.

The Same Bible today as 2000 years ago -Many people try to argue that the Bible is fallible because it was written by man and passed down for centuries. First, I would point out, The God who made time itself, the galaxies, and ALL that is in them, including you and I, and has named EVERY star that He hung, is MORE than capable of preserving His Word! But if that is not enough for you, consider this. In the 1940s some scrolls were unearthed in the Dead Sea area that have now been dubbed "The Dead Sea Scrolls." These scrolls are copies of the Bible that were hidden in caves near the Dead Sea that have been dated as having been written during the time that Jesus walked the earth! Scholars from all over the world have combed over these and found that they are near word for word what the King James Bible reads today minus the words that do not have an English equivalent!! ALSO, there has been MANY copies found literally all over the earth that again when translated and put against our current copies of King James Bibles is still word for word. Scholars from MANY nations have looked these over as it is a great interest to ALL that our copies are correct, so it's not like it's just 3 people in America doing the verification, its MANY different scholars from all over the world that has combed over these transcripts and found that yes, the current Word of God that we have IS STILL the same as in ancient times. So, you see, God can, and He DID preserve His Word! Some would go on to argue that "But that was then, this is now. Times have changed." But the Bible warns us that God is the same yesterday, today and forever, never changing regardless of the times and changes that society pushes through. (Hebrews 13:8-9) Gods sovereignty and Laws remain the same. This is why many Christians refer to God and His Word as "The Rock of our salvation."

The Book That Reads You -The Bible is the only book on the face of the planet that you don't read it, it reads you! Many people from all over the world with differing problems have opened the Word of God and have had prayers answered and problems solved, many times by just randomly opening the Bible they read EXACTLY what was needed for their particular situation. Millions all over the world have experienced this phenomenon. If the Bible was not the authoritative Word of God, how could this be?

Prophesy -The Bible is nearly 1/3rd prophesy. Some of which has already come to pass right down to the very letter where the coming of Jesus Christ is concerned! The people that prophesied the coming of Jesus did so many years before He came, in some cases generations after they themselves were gone. Much that was prophesied over 2000 years ago is coming to pass AS WE WRITE THIS such as the one world government and one world currency, and that none would be able to buy, sell or trade except them who have the mark. (Revelations 13) Some would argue that the climate change agenda is the one world religion said to also come to pass. The facts are, the Bible was correct, and continues to be correct today. No other literature can make these claims and has been on point and correct consistently the way the Bible has been and continues to be.

Splitting Time -Jesus' coming and departure of Earth was such an exceptional event that it actually caused a permanent splitting of the periods in time known as B.C. (Before Christ) and A.D. (After Death) Many secular schools today, under demonic delusion and denial, have gone to the extreme to try to cover up this event by attempting to rename the period as Common Era (C.E.) or Before Common Era. (B.C.E.) But regardless of what the splitting of the ages is called, to a person who is a critical thinker you have to ask, "what was the event that took place that caused the splitting of the ages?" The answer is simple, Jesus Christ.

Christ Resurrected -Jesus, The Son of God, indeed was crucified and died on the cross and rose from the dead 3 days later to make the ULTIMATE atonement for our sins. We have ALL fell short of the glory and the SUPREME Holiness of God and needed a savior or we would not have any chance to be reconciled to God. (Romans 3:23) The blood that Jesus shed on the cross for you, and I make us right with God if we repent and believe on God's Son, Jesus Christ. Because Jesus lives, so shall those whom put their faith in Him. (Romans10:9-11)

Jesus Seen After His Resurrection -Jesus was seen by hundreds of people AFTER he was publicly declared deceased and encased in a guarded tomb. (1st Corinthians 15:3-8) Of the many people that saw Jesus, one of them was his half-brother, James. Ironically, James did not believe in Jesus before He was resurrected. James would later become martyred for the sake of Jesus in 62 A.D attempting to spread the Gospel. 

Apostles Martyred for the Gospel -All of the apostles, except John, would in fact go on to be killed for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of them went through a great deal of torture before ultimately being killed such as attempted stonings and being thrown in prison. If Jesus had not actually came back from the dead, why would ANYONE go through all of that and eventually lay down their own life trying to spread the good news of Jesus Christ who was supposedly permanently killed on the cross? I'll tell you why. They saw Jesus after He was resurrected and they KNEW beyond any doubt their lives were secure in, Jesus Christ, the Son of God!

Jesus is the Answer!

Jesus is not a way; He is THE way. The ONLY way.

John 14:6, Acts 4:12

We are all going to pass from this life. One day, sooner than you would like to imagine, you will be meeting your maker. God loves you so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die and take YOUR place for your sins so that you would have eternal life in Heaven. (John 3:16) Will you take the gift of eternal salvation paid for by the blood Jesus? Or will you reject Him and spend eternity separate from God who loves you? People many times ask the question "why would a God who is so loving send people to Hell?" Firstly, God made the first step in while we were sinners, He sent His Son to die for our transgressions. (Romans 5:8) 2ndly, It's not REALLY love if people are forced to love God. Therefore, God loved us enough to allow us free will to decide rather or not we would follow or reject Him. So, the ball is actually in our court, God has repeatedly shown His love for us. Even those who reject God, He still loves them enough to allow them to use His air, His water, and His food and other blessings He provides in hopes that they would change their ways and come to him. God is not slack in his promises of justice but merciful and long suffering in hopes of the lost finding their way to Him, not wishing that any would perish. (2nd Peter 3:9) God loves you!
